Blog Assignment #20 Yukari Kondo
On Saturday, I went to watch a movie with my boyfriend at the Central mall. We watched CHAPPiE. It is a movie about a thinking robot. The story was interesting, but I couldn’t understand some parts. It made me sad. It was a little grotesque. It was the first time I went to an American movie theater. I was surprised because you can sit anywhere. You can move your seat and cup holder. In Japan, you have to sit in an assigned seat. Also, there was so much trash on the floor after the movie. It was so dirty. On Sunday, I went hiking with my friends. We went to Mount Magazine. It was my first time hiking. The car ride was longer than the hiking. The course was uphill so I was so tired. I saw a small waterfall. It was so pretty. After that we went to a different place with more small waterfalls. Lastly we ate hamburgers. It was a great weekend.

I really dislike that people leave their trash all over the movie theater. The workers have to spend so much time cleaning up the theaters in between movies. I wish Americans would be more respectful.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the difference of movie theater between the Us and Japan. It is surprising that Mt. Magazine has many types of waterfalls. Each one is beautiful!
