Blog Assignment ♯19 by Kotaro Arashiro
I have been here about a month since I came to the Fort Smith. I feel like the time I have stayed here is faster than I expected. There are so many different things between America and Japan, such as food, life styles, customs. It is interesting for me to find the differences between them. However, I sometimes come to miss Japan. I have three Japanese stuff that I am missing. First, I want to eat Japanese food. Because American food has much fat and calories more than Japanese one, if I continue to eat those food during my studying abroad program, I'm sure I would be fat and gain weight when I go back to Japan. In order not to be like that, I have to go to the gym regularly and exercise there. Next, I am in trouble with sleeping on the bed in my room. It takes time to fall asleep since the bed I use in here is different from my bed in my home. That makes me difficult to sleep every night. Therefore, I am missing my Japanese bed, which takes less time to sleep. Third, I really miss my friends who are in Japan. I'm really looking forward to seeing them again in May.

I miss Japanese food too. We have to do exercise.
ReplyDeleteTime flies so fast! I tend to eat too much at the cafeteria. We should exercise more and not to gain our weight. I can sleep anywhere, so I've never thought about the difference of bed between Japan and America. Is it not comfortable for you?
ReplyDeleteChoose healthy food in the cafeteria, such as salad. Maybe purchase a foam bed pad to make your bed more comfortable. I had to buy one when I was in the dorm rooms last year. You can purchase one at Walmart.
