Blog Assignment #17 by Nanako Suzuki

I went to Girls Inc with the other ACE students yesterday. We prepared Calligraphy and Origami. I taught the girls how to make Origami. I made some penguins, boxes, hats, clans and ships. Maybe the most popular Origami was a penguin. It was so cute, and you can make it easily. Actually I didn’t know that how to make the penguin when I was in Japan, but I can make it easily now. If you are not good at making Origami, you should try to make a Penguin. The girls were powerful and cheerful, so teaching Origami was a little difficult. Understanding their talking was also difficult, because their talking speed was so fast and they changed the topics really frequent. However their smiling were really nice. The time was about one hour, but I felt it was shorter than the real time.
The next month, we will go to there again, and maybe we will dance tankoubushi and marumarumorimori in front of two hundred girls. So I have to practice dance again.

  1. I guess controlling such a large group is really hard. I want to see your dance but I will be in Japan next month. So sad!
