Blog Assignment #6 Ayana Shinogi

I was so surprise. When we had arrived Atlanta airport in America, I saw a lot of trash on the floor. A man was eating something like pizza. When the man finished eating it, he went away laving trash on the floor. There was trash can in of him! I think he is strange, this was wrong. I don’t believe that, if I do same thing in japan, I was saw impolite person by others. This is first culture shock in America for me.
Next culture is very big everything more than japan. For example, People, rode, car, house and food and so on. I am not tall, so everything is too big for me. I want to small thing, but everything big.
This is difficult things for me. Japan doesn’t have tip custom, so I don’t know I should how much pay tip.
There are many culture shocks, but I want to be accustomed to American culture.

  1. I think it is common in the world that some people have good manners and some people don't, but I am sure the guy's manner made you shocked. I had a same impression when I first came to America. Everything is huge here!

  3. I think so too. I still don't know how to tip, so it is a little scary for me.
